Werner & Sons Company History

In 1977 Werner & Sons pioneered the idea of offering only energy wise home improvements that have Federal, State the local utility company approval and support. Though Werner & Sons is a small family owned and operated company it has since installed energy conservation measures in tens of thousands of homes. The Werner & Sons name has become synonymous with energy efficiency, quality workmanship, friendly service and honest pricing.  

As the "Premier" Solar Electric, Replacement Dual Pane Window, Heating & Air Conditioning, and Insulation contractor in Sacramento, we have operated under and promoted numerous programs sponsored by PG&E and SMUD. We have been recognized year after year for our contribution to their energy efficiency programs, even having served as the repair contractor for PG&E receiving all of their Outstanding Contractor Awards.

Werner & Sons is highly respected in the industry. In the 1980’s, we encouraged the utility companies to offer financing programs for window replacement and they did. In the 1990’s the industry wanted to set installation guidelines, they came to us. It’s our helpful manner and willingness to share information that has helped make us Sacramento’s most reputable window company.
