Should I replace my Heating and Cooling system?

If you need to ask that question, the answer is probably YES! Don't wait until the temperatures go up to 100° or down to 30° and your system is working overtime. These are the times systems fail, leaving you paying premium prices or waiting weeks or months to have them replaced. Even worse ,old furnaces can become deadly, leaking carbon monoxide gas into your home. Don't wait too long and put your family at risk!

Systems today heat and cool more uniformly, making your home more comfortable. Air filtration is more efficient, raising the air quality of your home. Noise can be dramatically reduced leaving you with peace and quiet. Safety today is unprecedented with the elimination of pilot lights (an open flame in your furnace burning day & night) and the introduction of seamless stainless steel heat exchangers (old style exchangers can deteriorate and leak deadly gases in your home). All of this while you dramatically save on your heating and cooling costs. Today's systems can be 2 even 3 times more efficient than older systems.

If you are thinking of replacing your system, there is so much to gain, and with the rebates, government programs, and utility company financing available today, NOW is the time to replace your old Heating & Air Conditioning system!

Product Line

There are literally hundreds of heating & air conditioning brand names and models to choose from, all with different designs, features and options. So, how do you decide which one is best? First rule, always purchase the most efficient system you can afford. The extra cost will more than be recovered in time. Next, here's a few things we found to be most important in our search.

Heat Exchanger  The most important and main component of any gas furnace. It is also the component that can fail emitting deadly carbon monoxide gases into your home. In almost all cases of failure this component cannot be repaired leaving you paying for a new furnace. Furnaces should have a seamless stainless steel heat exchanger with a lifetime warranty.

Compressor  The main component of any air conditioning system, (The thing outside that makes all the noise!). It is also the component that most often fails leaving you with a $1000.00 to $1500.00 repair bill. Air Conditioning Systems should have a SCROLL compressor with a lifetime warranty. (NOTE: Scroll compressors have 2 moving parts in comparison to 15 of a standard piston compressor. They are dramatically quieter in their operation and have a longer life expectancy.)

Matching Equipment   Many manufacturers use other brand name equipment, especially coils, to obtain higher efficiency ratings for their systems. Simply put, would you buy a car from Brand X who says, "We'll install Brand Y's engine to make your car more efficient"? All equipment including furnace, condensing unit (air conditioning unit), and coil should match and be custom designed by the same manufacturer.
